Tom started in production in 2003 after graduating from Purchase College. Working on Law & Order and many commercials, Tom learned the production process and decided to then learn Post Production. He was an assistant at Go Robot Editorial for Adam Liebowitz, where he won one of the AICE Trailer Park Awards in 2005 for his mashup edit of West Side Story as a zombie film. From there, he freelanced for PS260 & Rock, Paper, Scissors. He assisted Maury Loeb, Kirk Baxter, and Chan Hatcher, among others. He then elevated to editor, working at Pipeline Media doing HBO promos. In 2007, Tom directed his first national commercial for Chico’s FAS. Since then, Tom has endeavored to expand his style and to showcase his knowledge of all sides of the filmmaking process.
